The Rodenbach Brewery in Roeselare stores its beers in over 300 gigantic oak barrels (foeders), some with a capacity of up to 60,000 liters. In the Grand Cru, two-thirds undergo long-term maturation – this fundamentally distinguishes it from the classic Rodenbach. The result is a beer with a depth and complexity that few beers in the world achieve.
