Mount St. Bernard Tynt Meadow English Trappist Blond (UK)
Mount St. Bernard Tynt Meadow English Trappist Blond (UK)
In the quiet hills of Leicestershire, where the Cistercian monks of Mount St. Bernard Abbey have lived and prayed since 1835, a beer was created in 2018 that made the world take notice: Tynt Meadow – the only English Trappist beer and one of the rarest in the world.
Dark brown and opaque in the glass, with a creamy, beige head. The nose opens with dark chocolate, fig, plum, and a hint of licorice. On the palate, a rich, full-bodied texture unfolds – warm, complex, with notes of caramel, dried fruit, and oak. The finish is long, dry, and deep.
