Based on the legendary Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel, this beer matures for a full year in carefully selected Bordeaux, whisky, rum, and Calvados oak barrels. Each barrel brings its own story – the result is a unique master blend that differs from vintage to vintage.
Taste & Aroma
Intense notes of plums, raisins, figs, and caramel, refined by vanilla, oak, and elegant tannins. The barrel aging gives the beer a warm, velvety structure and a depth that continues to evolve in the glass. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, the aroma unfolds over years.
