TRAPPIST ROCHEFORT 10° ABV
TRAPPIST ROCHEFORT 10° ABV
When beer connoisseurs speak of Rochefort, they often mean Rochefort 10° – the darkest, strongest, and most complex of the three Rochefort beers, brewed since the 13th century by the Cistercian monks of the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Saint-Remy in the Belgian Ardennes. A beer that takes time – and gives time.
Deep dark brown in the glass, with a creamy, beige head. The nose opens with an overwhelming opulence: raisin, plum, fig, vanilla, crème caramel, and a hint of port wine. On the palate, an extraordinarily full-bodied, velvety body unfolds – nut chocolate, dried fruit, fine spices – with a carbonation that elegantly lifts all notes from the palate. Satisfying without being heavy. Complex without ever being tiresome.
